November 2019 COTM **Nomination Thread**
This is a Nomination Thread for cars that will compete for this month's Car of the Month honor. The 12 (or less) most popularly nominated cars will be compiled into a *Voting Thread* in a couple of weeks. If you do not nominate a member's car for COTM, you can still second or third (fourth, fifth, so on) someone else's nomination. Cars must have at least a second nomination in order to make the Voting Thread. If you are new to the TGO COTMnomination process, please read and understand the following rules before putting forward a nomination:
OPEN SEASON
Any very high quality, finished, stock or modified 1982-92 Camaro or Firebird.
- Do not nominate your own car. Your car must be nominated by another TGO Member.
- Do not ask your wife, husband, friends, extended family, etc. to register as TGO Members for the purpose of nominating your car.
- Do not nominate more than one car.
- Do not use multiple member accounts to nominate your own car or to nominate multiple cars.
- This is not a picture thread. Post only one (1) good photo of the car you wish to nominate. Do not use unrealistic, overly-processed images.
- You must post a picture with your nomination. This must be a full-sized picture (or at the very least, a pic or thumb that enlarges into a full-sized picture when you click on it).
- Correctly identify the user name of the member who you nominate. This includes capitalization and spacing.
- Correctly identify the year and model/trim of the car you nominate.
- Do not nominate cars that are not in a high quality, finished state.
- And if you are nominated, please DO go out and take an abundance of good quality photos of your ride (multiple angles, interior, engine) and make them publicly accessible (for example via a photo album in your public profile or some sort of hyperlink to your photo album).

Re: November 2019 COTM **Nomination Thread**
I love that Blue T/A but I think Big&BadGTA should get another go at it. This car was nominated last year and was a runner up. Looks like a really nice example and a 5.7L Vert to boot!
I nominate:
Big&BadGTA
1989 ASC factory GTA Convertible with 5.7L

I'd like to nominate Chazman and his yellow, 1985 IROC-Z. It has a TPI 305, and 44k miles. He owns 2 other COTM winners, so I'm sure there will be zero disappointments with this one as well!

Re: November 2019 COTM **Nomination Thread**
Tootie Pang, thanks for the nom! I have actually won COTM before, back in 16 or 17. Not sure what the rules say about that. I'm happy to compete, but not remotely upset if I can't. Up to Linson I suppose.
...and yes, those are the 17" Irocs.

You remember how much fun it was to participate and win the first time, right? There are still other first timers that deserve to have the same fun. So why chance robbing that experience away from somebody else now?

Re: November 2019 COTM **Nomination Thread**
I think I should step in here.
Abubaca’s IROC *cannot* compete in this month’s COTM contest. Not because his car won previously, but because the car has been sold and he no longer owns it. We don’t need a Car of the Month that isn’t owned by a TGO member.
Sorry, Abubaca.
If you nominated Abubaca you can nominate or second someone else.

I did not see that coming! Somebody just bought themselves a gorgeous car!
I was worried something bad happened that forced to sell but I see he just wants a new project.

Re: November 2019 COTM **Nomination Thread**
Yeah, I actually just logged on to bow out of the running. Tootie, Scott, thanks for the noms. Not the clog up this thread, but the in the 7 days it took to sell, (wow!) the shear number of PMs, DMs, emails and texts from people NOT actually interested, but wanting to show support for me, and more so actually, the car, has been pretty overwhelming. I'm gonna make a post about it, but for now, short answer is a new project. Now back to COTM!

YOU SOLD THE CAR??? WHAT????
Good luck in the next project, but I know you're going to miss the IROC-Z. I now officially withdraw my second on his nomination.
