March 2016 COTM **Winner**
Congratulations, havacamaro! You have reigned supreme in the ultimate Third Gen battle: The Battle of the IROC Zs, and are March 2016's Car of the Month Winner!
It seems that it was only recently that havacamaro burst onto the scene with this monster of a Camaro. Taking this car from whatever it was to what it is now was no doubt a lot of hard work that deserves respect and recognition. And the Third Gen Community approves of the end result. She's bold, beautiful, black, brutal, and a bad *** bitch - this car has all the B-words covered.
The car started off as a butchered up iroc, the tbi motor was replaced with a slouch 350 with 305 heads on it. I have touched every bolt and done all of the work on the car myself. Currently it has a 355 lt1 swap done to it, putting down about 400 to the wheels c6 vette 5 spoke wheels, t56 trans, 3.73 gears, and c7 z51 brembo brakes from Scott over at Bigbrakeupgrade.
The car came with the 90-92 blisters on it, so I kept them, and got the matching ground effects, and decided to go with a firebird style wing.

This is the info on the headlight swap for those that have been asking
As far as for the gauges, I got the overlays on ebay a couple years ago, and have not been able to find them since, the ones on the right of the pic are glowshifts, and they are the closest I have been able to match. Thanks again guys!

Very NIZZZZZZE. I love it when you mod an FBody and it all comes together. Not everybody is a fan of STOCK and back in the day of GTO's-Olds 442-Buick GS-Cuda,-Mustangs and so forth, not one of those cars were left stock the minute it rolled of the lot, I know I was one of those guys.

Man, I keep looking at this car every time I log in to TGO and being the freak that I am trying to always make something better, if this car were mine I'd love some white lettering on the rubber. I do realize though, that it's difficult to find on 18" & 19" tires these days...

Thank you for the eBay link. I was looking at Intellitronix as my speedo can be calibrated easily but I dislike the tach. The overlays may be the way and I will just have to spend time figuring out the gears to match the speedo.

Ahhh, old school white letters. I'm in the same boat. No white letters, raised or outlined for a 16" tire anywhere. I did however find some tire tattoo letters for mine, and they are guaranteed the life of the tire and so far (1 year) they have held up great, but they are geared toward sports fans. I drive mine to college football games here at home during the season and turn the tires in the rest of the year, but I gotta tell ya....NOTHING looks better than a 16 inch iroc wheel with raised white letters. I just wish tires mfgs would catch back on!

Re: March 2016 COTM **Winner**
The raised white letter tires were seen on 15" tires mostly. No third gen came with raised whites on a 16" tire. I don't know if the 16" tires had raised whites at other times, or for other models, but never on a 3rd gen.

Re: March 2016 COTM **Winner**
I personally have never seen raised whites on ANY 16" rim at any time. Which is strange because there is a market for it. The 85-87 Iroc wheels were extremely popular when they came out, and you would think that raised letters on a Camaro would have a huge fan base....but they never put them on there originally. A car sporting the name "International Race of Champions" should have came standard with raised white letter Goodyears...lol

This is by far one of my favorite camaros. From the grill and lights to overlays and hp. I love it. Found a new screensaver.
