It looks hot and all, but it doesn't look like an f-body any more, bodykits are suppose to exaggerate looks of the car, not make it look like a ferrari, its just stupid, it doesn't look like rice, it looks like a nice ferrari import, but its just dumb, go buy a ferrari.

BTW, are there any good links/sites, to good body kits that we can put on our cars, to make them look better, without making them unrecognizable?

It's not a body kit.. It's a kit car...

Here are some companies that sell close to factory style kits:
erebuni and xenon kits look the same ( i think they're ugly)
a&a specialties (best looking kit IMO)
razzi (looks too stock)
are the only ones I can remember from the top of my head.

ARE YOU RICEFIED? *** that kit looks nice and all but for one, it reminds me of some messed up mitsubishi eclipse Spyder. u see the similarities in the headlights? i think 7K for gfx kit its a waste of money.

you got to have money for a kit like that, and money i dont have...

Car: 2007 Corvette Z06
Engine: LS7
Transmission: 6 speed
Buy my car for $7000 to save it NOW.

That isn't a GFX kit, the entire front clip get replaced. Much more a kit car as stated above. Anyways, how bad do you think it would be to transform my '89 305 5 speed GTA into that exotic looking thing a few years down the road. Do you think that b/c it's supposely 1 of 366, or a GTA that it would be worth anything? Right now the car is very stock appearing(headers, exhaust, cam, RR 1.6s, stock appearing TPI, and a 4th gen rear)Soon to run high 13's, ran time in sig w/o(without) the cam, RRs, porting, underdrive pullies, or AFPR.

I know the best would be to sell this car or keep it and buy some base model 3rd gen to use as a base for that kit, but that's not economical considering suspension, BRAKES, and a nice engine and $2G rear cost alot more than that kit(plus 5 speeds are hard to find usually). You know what I'm saying? I want a fast/nice car now and then a exotic looking(and still fast) car in a few years.

In real life(I know we all love 3rd gens) would a GTA like mine be worth any more than the $4000-$5000 it's valued at right now? Say something like how 89 TTA are valued now?

ok, Ill agree with the last post, I think anyone who would do that to a perfectly good car should be shot. but at the same time, how many beat up pieces of **** f-bodies do you see? plenty! thats the thing, I can get my hands on a firebird for $125 that is basically a body only. that would be PERFECT for something like this. with no interior, beat-up quarters, no wheels, and no engine, what better donor car could you ask for? thats the kind of car that that kit should be put on, not perfectly good ones.

If you are going to buy a car you buy if for what it is and not for what you can make it look like, cars are designed for that reason alone. if GM wanted thirdgens to look like rice rides or Ferrari's then they would have, BUT THEY DIDN"T!!!! So in my opinin it does not look that bad but still go find some piece of sh!% to go put this kit on and not a IROC like that one idiot!!!!

Car: too many ...
hahahhaa its so funny to see everyone whine about that kit. well, i'll tell you what redberlinetta86, if you like the looks of that kit then go for it. from what i've seen, when people comment on the kit its either a hit or a miss .... either they like it or they hate it. so dont get discouraged that so many people talk shyt about the Evo kit. they just dont like it because of their personal preferance. if you dig the style then go for it. i know i am!! most people dont understand that the Evo kit was designed for the few of us that look at the f-body car as an excellent platform to build a powerfull, awesome handling, unique, exotic car that can perform well in both the 1/4 mile straight line racing or in SCCA or track racing. most of the people that hate it go with the 'how could you do that to such a beautiful classic car' route witch I myself cannot relate to. dont get me wrong, I think the stock body of a camaro looks good (thats why I own one) but I think that kit really brings out a european rally (Lemans anyone?) type of style witch I really happen to like. maybe its an age thing. also keep in mind that all the people who hate the Evo kit also hate anything else that you do to your camaro that is original or dosnt look anything like stock. these people dont have an open mind with car modification. maybe they havent been to enough car/truck shows or something, who knows. i've found the import and truck modification communities alot more openen minded about extreme modifications than the 3rd gen community here. not many people here would appreciate the front end of a Lincon Navigator SUV on a Ford F150 truck. but anyway ... if you like it then do it, plan for it, accomplish it. i bought my first 3rd gen camaro because I liked the way it sounded and looked. im buying my second 3rd gen camaro to take it to the next level with extreme engine, drivetrain, and body modifications. people here can say whatever they want, it dosnt bother me for i know i will be content with my next 2 year project when it is complete. i know i will be content at the tracks (quick 8) running 10's with everyone in the stands scratching their heads wondering what kind of ferarri that is. lol!!!

... hope i didnt offend anyone with my opinion ...

Hey Rob,

I am very interested in buying your 9" rear end. I have a 91 with drums in the back. I am pretty sure yours will fit. It all depends on what your are asking.

Boyd Coddington can make custom rims with custom sizes, offsets, backspacing, and width. It just costs an arm and a leg.
