Another board I belong to has a thread like this where pictures of cars found on the street or in parking lots are posted. Ours are old enough now that it's uncommon to see them out in the general public unless it's at a show or cruise. So post up your paparazzi shots of third gens in their natural habitats!
I saw this RS today in the local Lowes parking lot.
And I saw this 91 Z Vert yesterday. It's pretty rough but it's a 5-speed with a tan top, don't see many of those at all.
Someone please go rescue that car from it's owner.
The only 3rd gens I see as daily drivers are neglected Camaros. If you have a nice third gen in a parking lot, it'll attract the car bangers like a magnet.

I drive past this one all the time. I don't think it's moved in a year. This was the first time I had a job that was near it so I could peek inside. It needs a lot of work. The paint is terrible, top needs replaced, seats are torn, dash pad all cracked. With a little time and a lot of money, it could be a great car!
See third gen fbodies around here all the time. Not just the rundown beaters, but some really nice cars. There are several pro-street and full drag cars around that I see pretty often too.
Cool thread!
I rarely ever see third gens around here, especially daily driven third gens. But if I get a chance to grab a picture of anything I'll share it here.
I'd love to have that white vert, so much potential.
Great idea for a thread. Sadly, there's probably only a hand full of "nice" third gens around me and are very rarely ever seen. We do have a local that has a mint TTA with around 2,000 miles but I only ever see it at shows.

Nice or not, I spot them all the time. I saw a 92 Polo Green RS today, I was driving so I couldn't get a picture.
I was leaving a family function up in Holyoke MA this afternoon and from a stop light saw an 82 or 83 Sport Coupe in dark blue or black & it looked like it was in perfect condition....unfortunately I was driving & the light changed before I could snap a pic!
Theres a white IROC that lives down the street from me. I should get a pic one day. Unfortunatly its not in as nice condition as mine.... And thats saying somthing.
Just yesterday I saw a white IROC sitting in a drive. Very shiney and original looking. I almost stopped to ask about it, but was in a hurry. Then a couple of miles down the road, I saw a flame red metallic GTA with a blower sticking out, also very clean and shiney, was cruising with a new yellow Stingray.
There was a Z28 prostreet on local CL in perfect condition, low miles, but didn't come with the built LS engine. So, it needed motivation.
There is a Green TA for sale not far from me. It's missing the headlights, but the body looks clean. There's a gray GTA down from my in-laws house. It looks like they are doing some work to it.
Right across the street from that is a 70-1/2 Z28 in mint condition. It's maroon with black stripes. Only see it on the nicest days and it's kept in a climate controlled building. My wife went to school with the son of the owner.

Here's what I believe is a 1988 IROC Z Camaro that this guy drives as a daily driver. He drove it through the winter which really made me cringe when I saw the snow piled on top of it. The body appears to be in pretty good shape. I looked inside and saw that the drivers seat was really worn with one big hole in the seat; but otherwise appeared to be pretty intact.
Saw this after making a wrong turn the other day. Pretty clean and has a ram air hood. The inspection sticker on it was old based on the color so it may be just sitting.
There's a 92 drop top somewhere under all that dirt! I saw this out on my UPS route today at a diesel shop. Owner says it's his first car and it's not costing him anything to keep it.
Hope street view works as a paparazzi.A friend from US sent me a link to google street view to show me a house for sale and after that because I had nothing to do thought to check around town and found https://www.google.ro/maps/@38.07254...0110701T000000
you guys have amazing views there but why the heck is that Camaro with the windows down .Looks like its someone's daily driver.
now the challenge is to find more 3rd gens with street view

Something about cool, old cars, covered in dust and dirt from sitting, that pushes my buttons.....
