”It would be a shame for that nice IROC to sit out in the rain... Tell you what, sell me those louvers and I can open the garage door..”
No motivator on a classic car owner like rain! Ha ha

Oh, it’s that car! You should have used your garage space as a bargaining chip...

I took some cars to this show: https://www.flykci.com/newsroom/cruise/ It's a fairly big show with over 1000 cars every year. Kind of the last big car show of the year around my area. If you live close I recommend it for a good time.

These Fox body verts are one of the ugliest made. The way the top sticks up so high and a crappy cover to boot. The bucket seats sticking up about to the roof line I think these style verts is what turned me off on verts at an early age.

Cars and Coffee this past weekend. My club was the featured club and we got main entrance parking. So many people walked by the Z, not just the ones there for the show but mall shoppers also. I was in the center with the other members all around. This is a great pic of the car that I did not take! Yeah a buddy found this on the C&C web page and sent it to me. Apparently they liked the vert also!

Thanks Dustin....and I agree.
Here are a couple other pics from the show, The only other 3rd gen.
My favorite of the show and my "dream Car" as we all have one.
This is one of the cool things with C&C that makes it your not traditional car show. Folks line the exit to get photos and vids of the cars leaving. So I decided to take a picture of them...smile!

I don't mind them aesthetically I just think anybody who still puts them in is foolish. There are now LED options (some are plug and play) that do not require you to cut up your core support and are great to drive with at night.

Re: Post 1 Pic Actually At A Car Show Event
I really want to like the 80's Mustangs because they can be solid performers and have a massive aftermarket but I could never get away from the thought they look like one of Ford's cheap 80's cars. The rear and inside look like an Escort and the front looks like an LTD wagon. Many of Ford's 1980's cars look like the definition of parts bin cars.

Re: Post 1 Pic Actually At A Car Show Event
You can tell a lot more went into the Camaro design than the 80s Mustang.. Not to say there’s not some GM parts bin cost saving things on the Camaros, but they were a little less obvious
I do like to see a nice Fox at a show, just never wanted one.. I appreciate and respect them as 1/4 mile beasts...

Probably the last show of the year for the IROC...
We got a frost last night...
And they ripped up my whole street to the dirt... Compactors have been shaking the house 7am-3pm the past week... Still dirt and mud out there so that’s a wrap..

Yes sir!! These super low mile cars are damn near in my back yard and I've never seen any of them before lol
I thought it was weird that both of those 86's have 18k miles lol.
The 10k mile Trans Am is UNREAL mint. And had a for sale sign in the window

Re: Post 1 Pic Actually At A Car Show Event
Thanks! It was a trophy night at the big local cruise so I always go a little extra on the presentation..
Got a good spot in front of the DJ and had a solid crowd of spectators all night.. Guys were saying “this thing should win something..”
200+ cars and the DJ announces, “So our two awards will be as follows...”. All the guys around me were like, “Two awards? You got to be kidding me!” Best in Show 57 Bel Air and Best Cruiser was a 71 Monte Carlo with a big block chromed out and blown with NO HOOD (I don’t even think Linson would accept a hoodless car in COTM), candy orange paint and 18” chrome wheels... Me and him were the first two cars there, seemed like a nice guy but I didn’t see that coming! It’s just lame because they draw extra people for trophy night and that’s a pretty crappy way to end the season.. The last trophy night was 5 awards at least..
I was happy to get my engine bay and interior extra clean anyhow!
