Re: GM High-Tech Performance ceases publication

Hey, fellas!

Former Editor of GMHTP, Rick Seitz, here. Sorry it's taken me so long to post, just been busy building the "spiritual successor" to GMHTP.

First, I want to take a minute to thank you for all of your years of dedication and readership of GMHTP. Like you, it was my favorite mag for quite a long time. So not only was it a blow to me on an occupational level, but a deeper, passionate level as well.

While I won't get into the politics of what happened (been down that road once too many times already), I will say that don't believe everything you hear. It's true that GMHTP is gone, but it's not because it wasn't popular... I'll just leave it at that.

In the meantime, I've moved on and started my own publishing company. The first mag I've launched is, you guessed it, GM EFI (www.gm-efi.com). It's everything GMHTP would have become had it continued in production (even if it went strictly digital).

At GM EFI, you'll find everything from 3rd-Gens and Turbo Buicks, to today's C7 Corvettes, 5th-Gen Z/28, and even boosted Caddys. Whether it's 4-, 6-, or 8-cylinder powered, it's all good! You'll find everything you would expect in a print publication, just without the space limitations, censorship, politics, and cost. That's right, it's completely F-R-E-E!!

We run tons of videos, an eclectic array of feature cars, new product spotlights, tech installs, and we love variety as much as possible. We hope you do, too!

So when you have a minute, head over to www.GM-EFI.com, and explore the site. At our last count, we have over 80 articles published already in only 5 weeks time - try that with a print mag!

-Rick Seitz

Re: GM High-Tech Performance ceases publication

Welcome to the forum Rick. And thanks for your efforts in creating GM-EFI. I've been reading for 3 or so weeks now. It's a nice site, and fills the hole left by GMHTP nicely.

Well hot diggity dog. I have liked your FB page as well but with the way the news feed is, I don't see much there.
Heading over..
Thanks for keeping it rolling. Where are you based out of, if you don't mind?

I would like to find a complete run of GM High Tech Performance magazine. Anyone have a set to get rid of? Thanks
