Blue Engine block color combinations?

Hey guys,

I'm looking to paint my "new" block that's got surface rust and peeling black paint everywhere.

I'm liking the shade blue that looks similar to Ford Grabber Blue.

But, does anyone have any pics of a Blue block with Black heads/Valve covers or Black Block and blue heads? Or some other color combination with Blue?

I found a pic on here with the block and heads blue but no intake and valve covers.

I'm just trying to find a nice combo that won't clash.

Thanks!

honestly do what you like but after you have the water pump on and all your front accesories and the fan shroud you can barely see the colour of the block lol

Hahaha I plan to.

I just wanted to see what different combinations looked like before I go through painting everything only to possible end up not liking it. XD

Well....yeah, but painting it helps me feel like it's getting closer to being finished! lol

Also, do I see a little metallic in that block paint?

Gold you say?

You wouldn't happen to have a picture of that would you?

My engine mounts are gold right now. It was the only paint I had at the time and the originals were rusty as hell! And it contrats pretty well against the black block currently in my Trans Am.

Re: Blue Engine block color combinations?

That gold reminds me of a classic Oldsmobile engine.

Wow...you weren't joking about not being able to see the painted block...

yeah except alot of members have smaller brackets and electric fans and water pumps with no shroud so you can see the block better so it depends on what your doing
