Has anyone used their new product, it's an additive to Z2,3,5 . It's $20, wondering exactly what it does.

And sorry to sound stupid, I've heard of clear coat paint before, but what exactly does that mean.

I haven't heard about the new product, but I wonder how much better Zaino could work? Clear coat paint is just what it sounds like. The car is painted with the actual color, and then a clear paint is applied over it. It provides a more durable paint job and a deeper shine. There are also some factory paint jobs that utilize three steps. The color coat, a tinted clear coat, and finally a clear coat. The yellow on new Vettes is an example of this kind of paint job.

 

New product just speeds it the drying process up. Where did you see it for sale? I checked there just yesterday...
