Need ideas for center cap button insert...
Boyd machined the center caps of my custom wheels to the exact dimension of the factory 16in. wheels' center cap button/emblem and it's recessed to accept one if I can locate a set. The problem is, I think if I bought a new set of factory center caps to use the round center emblems, I think I would end up just damaging them. Is there any place that I can get just the factory center cap emblems or is it possible to surgically remove them off of a set without damaging them?
Thoughts, ideas?

Maybe these from classic industries would fit? They're intended for Ronal R15s but the measurement is listed. Maybe they'd work for you:

You should check on Ebay, they have "Z28" center cap! It will look nice on your mags! By the way your car is gorgeous!

Thanks!
The insert I need has to be 2 9/16". If I cant find one in that size then I may try to shave the ones from classic industries.

I think you might mess up the badges trying to take them off of stock center caps. The car is killer and I love how the new wheels look stock, but chrome, yet have a lip to them that IMO all 3rd gens need. My issue with the stock 91/92 16's has always been the front wheel drive look of them.
