This Month I Cast my vote for Buggys Z28
But Copchasers Trans Am Looks just Flatout like a Badass car that Belongs in some kind of Action Outlaw Movie as either the Evader or the Law Car IMO if it had the Black Eagle on the Hood and maybe the Black Leather GTA seats it would put it over the Top !

Sinister's car is looking sweet too.
Firedemon's car is MEAN looking. Like it just punched you in the face and dares you to do something about it!

Re: Feburary COTM **VOTING**
Really appreciate the nomination guys! Here is a little more info on the car:
LG4 engine
4 speed manual with the Borg Warner Super T-10
has Mecham upgraded suspension including Koni shocks, droop limiter straps
and xtra front cross member
WS6 package
The car has been restored to stock with the exception of the head unit-the original Motorola P-500 AM/FM stereo cassette has been replaced.
For those unfamilar with the MSE, in 1982 Mecham Racing won the SCCA Championship Series. Elliott Forbes Robinson was the driver and car #55 was the winner. This car has great historical significance because it is the street version car #55.
For those interested in what the "Git Kit" consisted of, you can see pictures of the parts in the original packaging here-
http://www.earlythirdgen.com/forums/...hp?f=13&t=1610
A lot of thought and effort went into this project-I wanted it to be a great example of an early third gen and stand out on its own without being too radical.

Welcome back. I don't know how you keep up with fresh ideas for COTM criteria.
Having said that, if you're looking for ideas I have one that MAY appeal to fairly broad group of the people here. I'd be interested in a sort of survey to see if that's the case.
In the meantime, keep up the good work. (And they said it couldn't be done, remember?)

I cant wait to get some really good pics of my dads purple convertible this summer. That pic was taken on its first and onky time driven since it was finished last year.
I guess I will post up a few pics later tonight of the two since they are in the running.

this reminds me of the thread as to which is more popular firebirds or camaros
firebirds won that.. I think Kymmee is running away with this with his very clean firebird.. and the only one...
all of them are very sexy though!

Looks like this month is a runaway
Here's some pics anyways, gotta take advantage of being nominated whenever you can right?
Here's my dad's car. It has a custom paint job with the original purple haze and a mix of House of Kolor Kameleon, and the stripes were painted on and textured to look like brushed steel with a 3D looking "25th" on the driver side blister. It has an LT1/T56 swap with ported heads and intake and a decent size cam. Still haven't picked out a CD player for it yet, that's all that he has missing inside the car.

Yes, it was there in 2012. Was put in modified (after a lengthy discussion between the tech guys). Ultimately they said the "MSE package" did not have an RPO code so it was considered a mod. Also they got me on the louvers-they were dealer optioned, not GM. The car got a lot of attention but didnt place at the event.

that MSE makes me Miss mine. Very long story as to why i don't have it anymore. but i tried 2 times to buy it back but it is now in Ohio somewhere. My son asked for it so we both had thirdgens to go to shows. 2 weeks later he traded it off for a Motorcycle. Dumba** kids.. tried twice to buy it back and buy the time. it went for sale it was trashed. they guy he traded it to Primered teh whole car removed all the graphics painted the wheels black. removed teh MSE radio and just plane and simple messed it up but the good news is the guy who has it now has started a restore on it. he sends me pics all the time. it's been repainted back to white the wheels have been restored and polished. so it looks really sharp right now. sorry to hijack the thread but that MSE made me think about this sore subject of mine

I know of the car you are referring to. I saw it on ebay for sale after you owned it. I am pretty sure I know who owns it now. He is bringing it back to its glory. Hopefully you will find another one come your way someday. They dont come up for sale very often. I've had people seek me out wanting to purchase mine. Its not for sale, I would like to enjoy it a bit since the resto. Would be hard to sell it. It is a cool car.

Re: Feburary COTM **VOTING**
Darn, there are some bada$$ 3rd gens this month! I appreciate the nomination to be counted alongside these other worthy entries. Here are some more pics of my '92. This was my first car (1996) and started out as a automatic 305 TBI. My dad and I did a complete swap in 2004 (carbed 383 stroker, T-56, 9 bolt rear, 1LE brakes) and I've been adding stuff (suspension goodies, GMMG exhaust, Z spoiler, true C4 ZR1 wheels, etc.) to it to give it a factory performance feel.
The early years.
2002 TA seats, factory CD with upgraded internals + ipod jack, factory Bose, silver, blue-lit gauges, the ever-useful cupholder mod.
And a small video snippet:

Really digging the purple car, the 25th anniversary on the hood is PERFECTION!
BUT I'm also digging copchaser's bird...... the paint & wheel combo is also PERFECTION.
If those two cars got together & had a baby, well it'd be.......PERFECTION!
