scuffed headlight pocket
When I got my car painted, my dad spray painted the headlight pockets flat black. Yesterday I was cleaning my car and I noticed what looks like shoe marks scratched into it. Its scuffed pretty bad, it makes it look dirty no matter what you do. Should I just repaint it, or is there something else I can do? I have access to my dad's whole car detail shop, theres a lot of stuff in there but he said I have to get my hands dirty and maintain my own car.

Well, when I had my 82 Z28, mine were a little scuffed, and I used Eagle One Tire Wet on them. Probably not the best for a long term thing, but it helped. Maybe use a rubbing compound, then wax em?
Depends on how scuffed they are I guess.
