Thanks a lot guys. It was a close competition this month with a lot of really nice cars in the running. Means a lot to see mine come out as the top choice after all the years and work I've put into it.
Oh and BTW BADNBLK, my rear axle is actually an SLP dana 44 w/ 3.55 gears. The 10 bolt got swapped out for it about half way through the build haha.

Thanks everyone! Really is an honor to see the car being liked so much by others. When it comes down to it, I built it for myself, but it makes me feel like I did things right when everyone else can appreciate it as well!

perfectly done car.
btw, thank you, whitedevilTA, for not opting for a 4th gen style ram air hood as so many would have done. that would have looked wrong. with the stock hood, the car looks right.

Re: November COTM **WINNER**
It's not 100% done...still need door panels and a few odds and ends, but heres a few shots I had.
And this is with the center console back in.
I'm guessing you mean the exhaust?? No, I made mine custom. It's a 3.5" from the turbo all the way back, and it goes into a 3.5" borla XR-1 race muffler. It's 4 separate pieces and is all held together by V-band clamps for easy removal if need be. Couldn't see paying $500 or so for the sinister system!

Wow. I'm gonna look for them right now lol. If they are actual TA door panels I may consider them. Pretty picky on what I want for door panels though....I'd like them to be the same as my originals with the 3 separate fabric layers and map pockets.

Hey very nicely done! I have a question for you though, what size rim/tire combo do you have? Ive been looking around for my 91 and cant decide if I should step up to 17s or not.
How difficult was it to swap in the 5.3l? This is something I also plan on doing within the next couple years.

As far as the 5.3 swap...honestly can't really say. For me personally, I didn't consider it to be too bad. But I have been playing with (and breaking) engines and doing swaps for 10 years now. It may prove a bit challenging for someone that hasn't been around cars for as long, or someone who's not very mechanically inclined. Everything was very straight forward for the most part.

Wow, beautiful car. It hits the right balance of flashy without being gaudy, and man it sure can back up the swagger!! I see a lot of car show trophies in your future.
What color is that? It really makes the car.

Thank you! Color is off a 2001 plymouth prowler and is called flame orange metallic. As far as the trophy's, that would be a bonus to actually getting to drive the car finally lol. Going to be showing up at lots of car shows next spring with it.

Sweet ride! I hadn't seen your car on here before and I'm blown away. Amazing appearance and great drivetrain. I love the design of your SFCs, simple and effective. Were those custom made? And how did you get your hands on a Dana 44?

Thanks a lot! The SFC's are actually made by BMR, along with all my other suspension parts. They make a great product and I have been nothing but happy with them. The dana 44 I got lucky with. My brother bought a 91 bird from a local guy and the car came with it installed. Not sure where the previous owner picked it up from, but it already had LS1 disc brakes installed on it and it was in great shape. My brother ended up going with a moser 12 bolt so I got the dana 44 as a hand-me-down for cheap lol.

No problems with heat. Car will run around 185* all the time under normal driving. When I do a real good 2nd threw 4th gear rip on the highway, it barely gets to 200*. One time I did 4 back to back races, literally lining up on the highway, racing, and then lining up right after. Went 4 times in a row and the hottest the car got was 205*. Still have the stock 3rd gen radiator and stock thermostat too. Only upgrade was my dual derale fans. And thanks for the compliment man!
