Getting Car Painted... Which Kind Of Paint To Buy???

ok... me and my dad are sanding the car down and doing all the prep work on it and my neighbor paints cars really good... he said he would paint it... i want to go back the original teal color... and he can do ghost flames so I was wondering which kind of paint do I need for this?? He asked my mom if we wanted the base coat clear coat mix or something like that. Does anyone recommend any certain kinds of paint or anything? Also I've been wanting ghost flames since before I came to this board... then I found the candied z28 and i love it... so i hope no one thinks i'm copying it when i get it done... so does anyone have any pics of cars with flames?? doesn't have to be 3rd gen or ghost flames but ANY car with flames on it please post them or e-mail them to me because I need some ideas. I dont' want major flamage... just a little bit because I dont' wanna over do it. Thanks guys!

oh yeah... what is the paint code for the teal that came on the 91 RS? anyone know?

Can't go wrong with PPG for basecoat clearcoat.. The cars/trucks I've painted with that have come out looking great. As for the ghost flames, I believe you just put a pearl additive in the clearcoat where the flames will be then go over the whole car with regular clearcoat. Probably a million different ways of doing it though.
