ohh yea i got to put the wing back on....

man its just that the cheapest fiberglass stock wing is like $435.00 thats just too much right this second. im going to wait for a couple of weaks cause i just did the paint and the drop and all new suspension so ill be a little tight on the budget for a couple o weeks.....

any know where i can get a good deal on the factory aero wing but one that is fiberglass so it wont just crack in a few years?

I know this will show off my firebird ignorance, but is the car a formula? if so, is that a TA front end? my buddy has an 89 formula with a different front end. it has the black bumper inserts. i thought all formulas where like that.

88blkiroc,
Yes, it is a Formula with a TA nose and TA gfx. The tail lights are another give away, as is the power bulge hood. Your friends' with the bumper inserts is the correct nose for the Formula model and the only one offered from 1987-1990.

AudioDEO,
That said, I think your TA clone with the power bulge hood and candy paint looks awesome and I am quite jealous since I no longer have my original '83 TA hood (the power bulge). Good luck with the sound system.

Awesome ride!!! I am not much into formulas but I like the paint job. I live 2 hours from you. Who did your paint work and where did you get the paint and clearlcoat, if you do not mind.

Thanks!!!

That car looks pretty sweet man. One thing though, I think TA tail lights would look better on there than the standard ones. Just my .02 though. Other than that, damn nice car .

nice car!!!! i agree that the T/A tail lights would look much better than the stock ones. Also, did you get a special deal on the paint. Is your paint by chance HOUSE OF COLORS paint. Really nice car. I hope you plan on doing something about that back window if it is stock because all that sound presure will blow it out.

it is house of colours paint....

none of the woofers will be facing backwards so no pressure will get past the wall that im building. but the side windows will realease all the over pressure. thats why these are not good spl vehicals.... but they are very good sound Q vehicals.

Holy Shyte....your car is my cars twin. My car looks exactly like yours...besides I have the GTA rims on mine. I was going to paint it candy apple red in a month or so...that was if I decided to keep my car. My car has the '86-'90 GFX and front end like yours and the functional power bulge hood....but it needs paint. Definitely put the TA grid style tail lights on your car...it made mine look ten times better. I am thinking about selling my car due to some electrical problems...but I really dont want to part with my hood since I love it. I always wondered if my car was going to look good with a candy apple red paint job...but figured it would be different from all the stock colors...but now I guess I can see what my car is going to look like. Beautiful car...I guess every car has a twin...lol.

That color is sweet as hell man. As for the wing, I think it actually looks awesome without it. And the rims aren't my thing either, but still, nice ride.

nice to see another candy car on the board. once that bumper's fixed and the spoilers on it should be one nice ride. you should try to get some close up shots to show off the color better. people never seem to understand how nice a candy color is in photos.

gotta love that price too, i would paint every vehicle i had a candy color if someone could pull off something that cheap.

what color did they use for a base?

Wow, that paint is beautiful! I think the rims you have are alright, but some other rims would really make your ride even sweeter! I love it though, very nice.

Looks awesome! love everything about it... it will be perfect once you get the wing.

but in my opinion..... why such a big stereo!???? geeze im drueling by looking at the exterior, but ive never seen the point in a massive compitition system.... seems like a waste of cash to me (those systems are so damn powerful u cant even sit in the car with it on!) anyways.... differnt strokes for different folks i guess

well the big stereo is because its one of my demo vehicles for my store. "so that it creates excitement" it will also be a very formidable competion vehicle " a power statement of what my store is capable of like our other comp vehicals" also the fact that i allways have to have a huge system...

I guess you could say im the opisite of socrities " do everything in excess" although im sure thats not a very safe way to live in the world.
