After installing GTA rims my camaro looks like its launching standing still
I have a weird and odd question, First off the car is a 92' RS(v6) i've updated to a V8 alluminum head TPI 305 w/ manual tranny. I've left the Stock RS springs and i've added Black GTA rims w/ 245/50/16 tires on back and 225/50/16 tires up front, but for some strange reason the front end is really high, the back and the sides are nice and low. What gives? reason i stayed with the Stock RS springs was that the springs were great advantage at the strip, Could i use these springs, i know i should just get a set of Aftermarket but for the meantime could i use the stock RS springs and are there any advantages to using RS springs.
BTW i have 2 Z28 springs, what would u use the RS or the Z28??????

Well, when I added my L98 Heads and removed alot of other stuff from the front end it was sitting a little bit higher, since then it seems that the WS6 springs have settled and it sits stock right now.
Maybe they will settle over time like mine?

Here's a simple question: Have you moved the car since you took it down off of the jack? When you lower the car after the front suspension was hanging, it'll be all bound up and sit higher until it rolls back a couple feet.

Car: 1987 Camaro IROC Z28
Engine: 355
Transmission: 1994 T56
Axle/Gears: BW 3.27 (stock)
those front tires are too short....it's gonna look bad no matter what with those tires on it. you can reduce the effect with some lowering springs, but ideally, you're gonna want 245-50s up front too, or if you're dead set on the 225's width, 225-55-R16 is a much better size.
