easiest and cheapest way to get a third gen as low as you can get it? dont really care too much about getting super nice parts, just want to get it low and stiffer suspension so it can handle sliding around a little bit more. Just fyi its the mpfi v6 so no idea what spring rates to use..

oh Mr. Fancy boy here with his awesome v6, lol just find factory rate spring numbers find how far yours are compressing is weight and then find out how high you want it then you have your height now for the higher rate use +%50 rate then calculate how much drop you would get at your weight on that rate then the height you want (difference between spring mounts at your desired ride height plus height lost from weight) and you have a spring rate and a uncompressed height the only other measurement is the cup size
my only questions are what are the extended ball joints for and is it worth it an extra $200-300 for the ground control coilover conversion versus just lowering springs? considering im just gonna have them as low as I can get them anyways? im not trying to be mr. cool or anything, im just asking legit questions to people who know more about this then i do and have experience with this. thanks

Re: Slammed Third Gens - Post Pics
not fancy at alllllllll. I bought the car for $400 spent a while working on it and getting it running and driving, now just want to have some fun with it without breaking the bank. Being a college kid and all thats kinda tough. lol i was thinking about just doing lowering springs, camber/caster plates with the raised strut mount, taking out the isolaters, getting solid bushings, and rear lower control arm relocation brackets. and then getting knuckles modified. just need to find someone to extend my front lca's a little bit.

Re: Slammed Third Gens - Post Pics
Will need to compensate up front by cutting my springs.

If only the roads were flat around here lol, wish I could slam my car a little but can't bear the potholes or bumps as bad it is when parking and the chin touching the curb.

HO!!! Lol! Yeah do it! I just cut my rear sportlines, but the 9" rear end I installed raised it slightly, so I'm not any lower

Re: Slammed Third Gens - Post Pics
MY GOD. If I could be in love with a vehicle it's this one. This is EXACTLY how I want my 92 RS to sit. what are the specs on your wheel/tire combo? I have a couple on my radar right now, but yours is delicious.
Think these with the Nitto Invo the guy says he is running on his Vette in the description would look like yours? http://www.ebay.com/itm/321700615909?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I was thinking of running 265/35r18 in the front and 285/35r19 in the rear. Your input will be MUCH appreciated!!

19x10.5 19x9.5
35 series tire 275 rear 255 front
There HRE 590rs
I Do want to push out front wheel out more and or put 275 tire on front
But may also tuck rear more and put wider tire idk yet we will see
I like it it's flush in rear it's harder to achieve in front unless I remove plastic wheel well and kinda don't want to do that as dirt will sling everywhere lol unless I raise car alittle

Re: Slammed Third Gens - Post Pics
Yea I will keep these for sure , I got lucky and got them thru a trade deal for some arc 8 wheels I used to have so I couldn't resist lol
All the wheels I've gotten since the chrome budnik have been gotten thru trades and or selling wheels to get the set I want I've luck out and thru the whole process I haven't spent much prob couple 100 bucks here and there and gas money that's about it out of pocket cost was not a factor cause there wasn't any it was a long process but worth it
Barter trade and sell lol
Stupid light 19lb 18x10 all around
Looking for a 18x10 track setup tho !!!
