Ive seen threads before that involved just a pic of the owner but never one with the owner AND their car....Hopefully the moderators dont close it.
Here's a pic of me doing a dyno run....205 HP! Not too bad for a bone stock 5.7 litre with 110,000 miles.

it's funny, i was thinking the opposite... that I was probably the oldest person posting on this thread, and most of the pics were of the younger generation

Here's a few.. Used the car for our wedding.
The reason I'm jumping out of the window is cause someone drove into my car the day of the wedding and the door was.. well.. not usable. But decided to use the car anyways.

Well, I'm 19, but its not my first car. I bought it to use as a drag car. I assume I'm a part of the younger generation.

Re: cars and their owners
I have an older picture that was sorta cool.....when we were doing the Power Tour in 04 and were at Gateway raceway in St Louis the next morning and we were getting ready to leave the hotel on the way to Davenport Ia. for the next days leg of the tour I open up the St. Louis Post Dispatch and on the front page of the Metro section this is staring back at me........the cool part is the photographer had chatted with us a bit then unknown to me had waited until he had me framed in the opening in the hood to take the picture, definately started that day off on a good note lol.

Child of the 80´s means growing up with Knightrider and Burt Reynolds. For me it put a real stamp on me. Can´t like these newfangled cars with airbags and ABS. For me the thirdgens really show a distilled and purified summary of the style queues of the 80´s.
-obviously incorrect information being preached as if it were a universal truth... heard from a guy, who heard it from the brother of his sisters uncle who owns a candystore where a guy owning a workshop buys birthday presents for the kids of the guy that invented the truth himself.
-seeing how the complete first page of a subforum is taken up by different versions of the same question (example, cooling. Keyword airdam) and every single poster stating he used the search function.
-obscenities, vulgar, insulting or discriminating posts by "that new guy nobody knows, and who has not even introduced himself"
-people who are set to "win the internets". They can has them
No one will try to make you understand. We´re all individuals. All these individuals are trying to say, in their own loving and caring way, is that there is tons of information to be obtained, as long as you ask the right questions.

Haha i can understand the obscenities and vulger part. But in your first point, sometimes the younger generation are taught something by another family member or they have researched the said subject on the internet. IF you hear it enough, you start to believe thats true in your mind,so then you go about posting it because, like i said,in your mind youre thinking it's the truth. Ahah you guys could just nicely say "Oh no man you got it all wrong!" Instead of "Why do you even own a thirdgen? You dont even know how to replace a torque converter. It's kids like you that scare me to have these amazing cars." I got that once and i laughed haha. And to your other point, ive used the search engine on this website. Both functions. I usually NEVER find what it typed in. It comes up with threads that have mentioned that word in both functions. I usually find information on it if i go on google and type in something like *4th Gen Dash swap-Thirdgen* then i find the answer. We all can has the internet, if you can has cheezeberger

Re: cars and their owners
I wouldn´t have a clue how to go about that to be honest Never done it.
Don´t take it as being aimed at you personally. The examples were to illustrate some of the stuff that can really go on your nerves if you´ve seen it come around about once a month for several years.
I was registered in a car forum once where about once a week someone asked "what car to buy for (pick an amount between 10 and 12k USD)" and the answer always came out "BMW, Nissan Skyline and a Honda NSX". After being a regular there for 5 years I now visit the place about once a month and see the latest post.... "what car to get for..."
I have to look, but I think my dog is still on cheezeburger Network

Yah, I listen to metal. AND NOT NU METAL CRAP. I mean real metal (84-88 Metallica, Ensiferum, Children of Bodom, Blind guardian, As I lay Dying, etc...)
Therefore i must drive a metal car, and I do. I chose Camaro.
