Interesting Russian Camaro
Not sure if this has been posted before. Here is a Russian Camaro with a interesting paint job and what appears to be white walls. Just goes to show you how taste differs around the world.

Re: Interesting Russian Camaro
I definately do not like it.
The angled edge of the black stripe on the sides does not follow any bodyline available on the car.
I do not quite understand what should be going on with the painted mask between the headlights. Again, doesn't really go well with the bodylines of the car. It disturbs them rather then accentuating anything.
Also not a fan of the whitewalls. The white wall makes the tire appear far smaller then stock. It would look goofy when viewed from the side.
(It actually looks as if the car really sits on 235/50's. Might be misstaking however)
The hood fitment is quite bad. Appears to be a stock hood however.
From the looks of things, some of the underbody plastics are missing, as well as the grille insert.
It would however be interesting to see how the black bit of the paintjob would work if the Camaro is painted in the same colour as the car nextto it.

Re: Interesting Russian Camaro
i agree, the paint job looks poorly done. it looks like the tape was laid crooked for the color serperations and it looks like some bleed through in a couple of corners. it looks like either the hood is sitting up on one side or the front bumper cover is sitting low. and the tires do look way to small/narrow. not a bad concept, just not very well done.

It wouldn't look too bad if it had a nice set of wheels on there. Its almost like they used the white wall tire to give the appearance of a large diameter wheel... Well you didn't fool me LOL!

Re: Interesting Russian Camaro
I agree. the paint scheeme looks good, its just poor quality work. I think it needs larger and wider black wall tires, and some sort of seperating strip between the lower black and upper white halfs. And of course the missing plastics.

the stripe down the side, hell no...however, the nose painted with the headlight buckets could be pulled off if done right. had never thought of doing that before, or seen it done. hmmmm......

I want to like it, but just can't. The headlights are just gross-I only like stock headlights on 3rd gens. I have seen better spay bomb paint jobs on here. It's a kinda cool concept, but pulled up badly.

Re: Interesting Russian Camaro
I honestly think that people would be giving the car kudos if it had on a decent set of wheels. The colors are nice, the headlights are the same as Spike-z's and it has the same smoke turnsignal/marker than a ton of people on here run.
The big mistake was the white wall tires. I'd drive it with some different wheels.

Re: Interesting Russian Camaro
Kind of looks like a tuxedo on wheels. Put it next to your typical Russian car and it probably looks pretty good. Except for maybe this one:

I don't care for the wheels.....

Re: Interesting Russian Camaro
I don't like how the stripe and zorro mask are on differing planes. Paint the buckets white, along with the mask and continue the side stripe around the front end following the body lines on the bumper and blackened grille and I'll bet it wouldn't look as....off. Obviously, with a set of larger wheels.
It looks like nice work though, someone took some time.

Re: Interesting Russian Camaro
Everything considered it isn't bad. I would make three changes. The wide whitewalls but if that is what they like there then keep it. I would change the angle on the front of the black side stripe to match the angle of the front of the bumper by the headlights. Lastly I would do something different about the black between the headlights but am not entirely sure what. These are suggestions trying to keep with the style of the car as it is.

Re: Interesting Russian Camaro
If that black stripe was higher and in line with the headlights and some decent 17" or 18" wheels were on it, I think it would look better.
It's not a bad idea, just needs some tweeks.
