Want to start refinishing my wheels
First off I am not asking how as it has been covered many times. I have basically just a couple of specific questions. I am refinishing a set of the second gen snowflake wheels 15 X 8 to put on my Firebird. I would like to go back with the bright gold paint, I feel it would be a nice contrast with the black I plan on painting it.. What is it called (there seem to be several different golds) and do I need a specific kind of paint for this? Do I need a specific type of primer for the aluminum?
I will be stripping them first then painting and finally polishing the ribs.
