trying to find a certain paint

trying to find a certain paint

Im trying to find the paint that my dads friend has on his 2000 firehawk, the name of it is blue black metallic, i cant find it anywhere

any good paint shop should be able to look up factory color codes or have book for you to look in with gm colors of that year. some vehicles have the paint code on the production tag in the door jamp, some in the glove box or if all else fail call the dealers parts department and give them the vin number they can tell you the factory paint code number
