Mold :(
so ive been away from these boards more and more due to my crx message board. im trying to get back into these boards but i dont read as much as i used to and there is always so much to read on these boards haha
so with the nice weather coming i decided to unwrap teh ole girl and fire her up.
well i didnt change the moisture zapper stuff so the moisture built up and molded teh **** out of my interior my $350 grant wheel is probably ****ed. the tack in the digital dash turns on and off when it wants to. and to top it off i found alot of rat crap and nuts and i think its living in my what was perfect hood fuz.
but in good news. she fired up first try no problems at all and she purrs like a kitten. man i miss the sound of a big ole v8 haha.
so this weekend im going to be doing some cleaning. im thinking ill just buy alot of febreeze whipes and probably use a carpet cleaner. mabey even look for a steam cleaner to really kill the bacteria.

Re: Mold :(
When I had this problem, I bought this stuff called Concrobium Mold Control. Worked great. you spray it on, let it sit overnight, and then wipe it all off with a damp cloth. It kills the mold, prevents it from growing back, and gets rid of the musty smell. I also used a interior upholstery de-oderizer (like febreeze) to make it smell all pretty.

Re: Mold :(
no worries... since your in Van... I picked up mine at Rona... But home hardware, home depot... they should all carry it, or a variation.
Oh and if your up for it, June 19th were doing a cruise up the Okanagan. End up somewhere for a bbq or something. Details are still being worked out, but I'll be coming down through Van from Powell River.
