Engine: 305 tbi
faded paint and pealing clear coat?
Is there any solution other that a paint job? If not do ya know of any good places and how much should I expect to pay?

I just wet sanded the peeling clear coat off my car.
It's serving a temporary solution until i get the paint job.
Doesn't get rid of the faded paint, but having just flat red on my car looks WAY better than peeling clear coat.

Wet sand or fine sand a small spot, spray a couple of lite layers of clear on it and see what you think. You can do a whole panel like that and when its hardened buff it out with some rubbing compound.
