Re: 82-84 Trans am pics
Hey, I don't know how to post pictures on here, but I got a bunch of pics of my 1984 trans am on my facebook. You can see them here:
http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...8&l=30ebe2777c
By the way, its got a 79 350 and 72 TH-350. The ground effects were there when I bought it- I was told they were from an 85.
And sorry to 'threadjack,' but Zexy, is there a blower under that scoop? I really wanted to put something like that on my car too (I was going to use the same style hood as you too) but I was worried it would be too low on the hood. I was going to get one with the red butterfly valves from summit... but they're pretty much the same thing. I think it looks good on your car- do you think you could just quickly tell me what was under the hood? Please email me at cdiver@buffalo.edu (so I don't take up the original thread). Thanks.

Nice car.I noticed your interior color as my 84 that i just got rid of last year had the same color and yours is the only other one i have ever seen with that color.Must be pretty rare.

Re: 82-84 Trans am pics
My '82 work in progress. This weekend i did some sandblasting and painting 'VHT' the headers, brake booster and alternator. Rerouting the fuel lines through the frame and replacing the broken lower A/C box on the firewall. Rerouting spark plug and accessory wires under the header.
Working on the engine bay this weekend, here is before pic, after pic coming later...

Re: 82-84 Trans am pics
84boackta455, are you referring to me? I think I was the only one with interior pics... The light gray seats that were in the car when I bought it were totally shot, there was sun damage to the tops of the back seats, and the seats of the fronts were worn to the foam. I just took the pictures around the damage. The first two mods I did were get window louvers and 4rth gen seats lol. I don't think you can see them in the pics though. The 4th are gray and black and look better IMO. I tried selling the old ones on craigslist, but no one replied. So I took the passenger seat (the less worn) and built a bracket on the bottom and put it in my room for watching movies.
