gts solarwing question

I recently got my hands on one of those(for the rear window) I wanted to paint it the same color as my car. can I use duplicor(sold at autozone) to just paint it, would it peel off at the first snow storm, what Ideas can you give me.

I know this can be done because I,ve seen painted blackouts. I can't really help you because I don't have one, but if you do get it painted I would like to see a pic. I'm thinking about getting one and painting it red to match my car also.

If there was a way to get a clear one, then you could paint it from the backside. I think thats what most people do when they buy headlight covers. That way it doesnt get chipped up.
