how do these plans for my Sport Coupe sound?
back in Feb i bought a Sport Coupe from a user here. well money has been tight since so i havent had the money to put into it like i wanted. so it has mostly just been sitting in the garage.
well at first i wanted to swap out the 305 and auto trans, to replace it with a crate 350 and t-56. now i think i'll just get the 305 running smooth and leave it in there.
some of you maybe asking why. well because what i really want is a 87-90 IROC with a 350. i thought about just putting the 85-90 GFX on my car but then i would feel like a poser. plus i would be dumping quite a bit into the car, when i could just buy what i want for as much as the crate 350 and the cost of swapping in a t56.
so instead i want to fix up the body, because the hood has a bunch of rivet holes from a plastic scoop i removed, and some in the rockers from the 91-92 side GFX that were put on the car. both of those things i removed because i didnt like them.
i figure if fix up the body, get the 305 running smooth, replace the exhaust system(from the headers back), replace the brakes, heater core, blower motor, trans mount, and the front seats that i'll have a nice cruiser. which will tide me over until i can buy a IROC or a 5th gen camaro.
the 5th gen camaro is another reason i dont want to dump a lot of money into my current S.C. i want to start saving cash to put a nice down payment on a 2011 or 2012 Camaro SS.
i would sell the Sport Coupe now but i love 3rd gens. so i'll only sell it if i plan on getting another one with the money.
here are a few pics BEWARE its dirty
i dont know why the exhaust hangs down so low but i hope when i replace it i can get more ground clearance.

I see you have quite a project on your hands. I know how that feels. Sounds pretty good, but if you're gonna get a 5th gen you should get the Z28. It should be the supercharged v8 from what I hear.

thats what i should have done, but i had the cash then and wanted a camaro right then. well i would have had a 91 RS with T-tops if i hadnt been out bid in the last second. this was back when i bought the S.C.
