I'm changing my vote. They look spectacular in the mock up but I just realized...the more people that add them the less original mine will look!!

what do you guys think? Should i add a grandsport vette fender stripe to the fender? Its popular with 4th gen guys but i dont see it on thirdgens.

I like 'em. However, the ones you have done in ribbon look WAY too narrow and WAY too far back. Center the hash mark above the fenderwell and make each mark about 3.5" thick.
Mine are 3" thick and .75" apart and I'm bumping it up a hair when it gets paint to 3.5" thick and 1" apart. The one in my shot is just vinyl from a sign shop and lasted a couple months with no issues (until I wrecked it...).

Hey man, you know i'm partial to all black cars but i think it would look good if done right. I know a guy who does decals if you want some to try out. We could spay it on and run with it. Its not that hard to sand a fender down and respray it. Besides, how much would it cost to buy a 10 second vette? Definitely more than a few paint jobs on the iroc.

I hate to bite originality, but I might have to try this as well, but Im thinking in a white stripe, and either a black or dark grey stripe.

im a big C4 fan, and personally i dont even like the GS stripes that much on corvettes, let alone any other car. it makes the fender look high

Well i tried to do a photoshop but it came out less than desirable. I just couldn't get it to look right.
Oh well.
Anyways, i think that it looks good and that you should go for it! It'll help break up all that black since you don't have any real stripes or decals or anything.

I never did end up doing this.. Still not sure if i am or not, but right now its taken a back seat. I'm changing up alot of things with the car so the stripes are the least of my concerns but they MAY find there way on the car as i did like the look

haha i do like black and green but this car has red accents and red seats now so i dont think the green will clash very well. if it was a different interior color, green i think looks good with black but definately not on this car

I was thinking of getting new rims. black spoked ones with a red powdercoated or painted lip to further accent the seats/brake calipers and give the strip something else to tie into

Here's mine! It's been probably 7-8 years since I've had it painted and I got the idea after seeing a few thirdgens with them and thought it was different. I was hoping the body shop would have put them a bit closer, but it still came out pretty good.

Should have pulled the fenders off. Could have picked them up with the nose and put some stipes on. I forgot you wanted to do that.
