L69 Ram Air Hood opinions please.
I currently have a L69 air intake (upgraded) on my 89 RS, But I wanted a Ram air hood that would work with the intake. So in photoshop I played with an idea, and I would like opinions on it.. Does it look any good. It's defently a "diffrent" hood.. If it's not to complicated I may try and make a fiberglass peice to add to my existing hood.
if the image does not load, you can find it at http://www.unlimitedlights.com/L69-Ramair.jpg
Thanks

I like it, its original, you'll never see another like it. Is that an actual production hood, or do you plan to get it custom made? Definetley go for it if you have teh extra $.
BTW The holes don't look symmetrical, you should fix that up.

Thanks for the comment.. No it's not I made it in photoshop.. hence why the holes don't look the same.. I'll probably make the intakes out of fiberglass, and add them to my hood.. It might work, cash wise it'll just be materials.. I'll do the work my self.

You might want to take a look at the Ford Cobra's "nostrils" and see if you can get them to work. I'm looking to use them on my RA II hood towards the rear to allow air to blow through the hood instead of getting jammed up underneath at highway speeds+. Figure that could help with keeping the hood on instead of having it torn off - besides it would look pretty cool.

Oh, are they an aftermarket add on for the existing hoods? Where would I find them. Thanks.
Actually these are the air scoops I used on my car. From Suncoast Creations, I wonder if they would just lay up the intakes peices I need. ummm.

Cool, thanks for the input.. I wasn't sure what feed back I'd get. This is getting me rather excited over the idea.. Thanks guys.

One think for sure, if I do this, I'll probably need to add some pins in the front corners. I noticed even with the regular hood travelling around 70 - 80mph it lifts a bit.

Are you sure you didn't put that hood on backwards? Seriously.
