Removing Factory undercoating from the engine bay

I've done a TGO search, and the best process I've read is to spray mineral spirits and use a toothbrush.
What's the best process/product for removing the fugly undercoating in the engine bay?

I used concentrated simple green, let it sit for 30min, and then hit it with a pressure washer and it peeled right off. I did the undercarriage as well because my exhaust was lighting it on fire at the CATS.
