I live in Valley, AL. which is about 35 from miles you. My father actually lives here in Valley also, and he has beem driving to work at Dolly Madison Bakery in Columbus for about 10 years.

Anyone ever go to Silver Dollar Raceway in Reynolds, GA? 1/4 track...

Hey cool what does he race? I might have seen him out there. I go occassionally, but usually go to Reynolds because they use the whole 1/4 mile.

Never went to Jordan. I think I have seen your car around though. You should come up to Muscle Car Bar-B-Que one Saturday night. We have a cruise-in ther every Saturday night. There are usually a lot of Camaros up there. You have probably seen the owner's '69 Camaro. It is bright red and has a blown 502 in it. I always bring mine. I won't be there this weekend because I am going to EAMS to see the winged outlaws, though.

Blue 92, I haven't ever raced at Phenix City, I like David, stick to 1/4 mile. I have went there watched several of the Pro Mod Shootouts though. His name does familiar.

David, I do race at Silver Dollar some, though I mostly go to Montgomery. The last time I was at Silver Dollar was in Feb, and we were running my brother's truck. He had an ignition problem and went only a best of 13.10 on the day. If you go to my website and look on the "78 GMC Sierra Page" and the "Cars in Action Page" you will see several pics at Reynolds. I am planning on taking the Z28 to Reynolds in a few weeks, maybe I'll see you there. I will probably be coming with a buddy of mine that races in the NMRA Mustang Series, His car is the 10sec white, 89 LX on the "Friend's Ride Page" on my site. He frequents Reynolds, you may reconize his car. Are you related to Jeff Culpepper that races at EAMS?? I hope to come to Reynolds in 2 weekends from this one. We have proven time and time again that Reynolds hooks much better than Montgomery, plus Montgomery is built on marsh land (High Humidty, if you've never been there) but its just such a long pull to Reynolds for us, because we either have to come down Co Rd 379 or go all the way to Opelika, hit 280 and go to the bypass about 1:45 drive, but we can be in Montgomery in 50 min or so. We usually Max our cars out at Montgomery and then go to Reynolds and get our All-Time best ET!! seriously. But I want to bring it to Reynolds to see if i can get a better 60' time w/ my Z28. I pulled a best of a 1.62 last weekend at Montgomery, and historically we have seen an average of .005 to .006 difference in 60's from Montgomery to Reynolds. I HOPE this holds true for this car. Most of the people here in Valley have got their All- time best ET at Reynolds in Feb or March.

A thirdgen drag... Haven't seen it yet at reynolds. I used to go there every friday, and when the switch to sat., every sat. lately I haven't been going. There used to be a Solid Black with 5% tinted windows with the bottle on it running N/T everytimes. Anyone know who this guy was? Beautiful car, but he doesn't seem to come anymore. There's also a 91-92 teal running 12.90s on engine. Not terrible, not groundbreaking. Never seeen anything under 12s though from a thirdgen. I think that black one did, but it had N/T. Look forward to seeing you all down there one day.

Ions91Z28, It has been a while I raced my Z28 at Reynolds. I did race my RS several months ago when it was stock though. The last time we were there was in Feb on Sat. My brother was running his black 78 GMC (see my site below) I hope to see you also. I will E mail you and David before I go. Its the same way Montgomery, there are not too many Thirdgens on the strip there either. There was a guy last week with a L98 IROC that I talked to, but it was more of a street car, it did run a 13.80 though, so it was sorta quick. I hope to see you guys there.

Hey Basett Racing, do let me know the next time you go to Reynolds. Me and my buddy will bring my Z. We probably won't race it because I have a few more mods I want to do before I run it on the 1/4 again, but I will come and check ya'll's cars out.
