stock grill and paint the buckets body color. black buckets only look good on black cars

yeah i only think some cars can pull of headlight buckets that are painted... i like the white car alot... the billet grill doesnt fit are cars at all...

Yeah, keep the bowtie grill and the headlight buckets need to be the body color. To me, the black headlight buckets always looked like an afterthought. It's a matter of preference I guess, but I like mine the body color. 89 RS, 305 TBI, 700R4. T-Top, 60k original miles, Fowmaster exhaust.

I'm a fan of the black buckets and black grill with red bowtie. It helps to have the black stripes to pull it all together.

stock grill, and paint the headlight buckets black, when painted body color, the front end looks like its missing something

Hey will the 89-92 Louvered grille fit the 85-88 cars. I cannot afford to spend $300 on fog lights (why are they so expensive) and cannot find aftermarket fog lights to fit the bracket. So I like the louvered look but like the 85-88 look better. So has anyone done this install? Let me know before I go buy one. Thanks to any and all that reply.

You can also do something like I did...
I made a bowtie out of very thin aluminum and install it over top of the factory bowtie.....just something a little different
