You can never go wrong with black. I love my car, except it gets so damn hot and its hard to keep clean.

Stang Eater- If you like "eating Stangs" as your name implies, I suggest getting your car painted '98-'99 Mustang Chrome Yellow. It's a double kick in pants to be flossing their color as you smoke them.

Harwood LS1 hood

Maroon would look good with a red interior. I'm not big on silver with red, but some people really like it. A friend of mine used to have a red on red '89 IROC and it looked real nice.

I saw a new Millenium Yellow C5 Vette a few days ago with a red leather interior, and I honestly have to say it was one of the ugliest schemes I'd ever seen. However if you change interior color to black it would look awesome on your thirdgen.

I've seen very few silver thirdgens, but the ones I have seen are so sweet! I'm thinking about silver for my 82. Black would be cool but unless you clean it often, it'll look dirty, I'd go for silver.

I'm getting my silver TA repainted silver again, not beasue of price issues, but becasue I love how silver with black interior looks on a thirdgen. Also paint the groudn FX a slightly darker shade of silver, it looks kick-*** .

Yeah, I know some came from the factory like that, I've just never seen one with that color scheme. Actually, the more I think about it, the more I think about red velvet cake.

Paint your car silver metalic, used on the 1996 Collector edition Corvettes. Then for the interior go with a red/black interior. I've been in a collector edition and it had the sport interior with red/black leather seats. It kinda brings a good look to the car. But that's my opinion. If you do go with a Black interior, may i suggest Pearl white or Arctic white for the exterior. My car had the arctic white with the black interior and i like it. It will look much better once i get my windows tinted.

No, unfortunately I'm not going to make it. Actually your mention of it is the first I've read about it, talk about being out of the loop. With a full time summer job and summer school its not easy keeping up with things. I do sometimes go out with the toronto f-body group but I haven't had the time or chance at all this year too many things too little time! And to get to the colour of the paint, your guess is as good as mine. In 99 I got it repainted (originally silver) with new paint and told the guy to paint it the "corvette silver" I'm guessing at the time it was called sebring silver. The new silver for the 2001 corvette is a little brighter then the one I have, good luck in your decision.
