Refinishing old rims.

Is this possible? Mine are really looking bad and I'd like to keep them stock. Is there any places that do this?

The painted inserts on my wheels are faded (the red looks pink). I wanted to find a place I somewhat nearby so that I could drop them off and pick them up personally, instead of shipping to make sure I am satisfied with the results. I checked the web and found Chicago Wheels Service In Naperville, Il. For $135 a wheel they will strip, fix any crub rash and powder coat my wheels. I was pretty impressed when I spoke to them on the phone. I am going to take mine there over my June vacation. If you want, I will be happy to let you know how they came out. Some people have told me they think $135 a wheel is pretty steep though, and I do not know what you budget is.

i'd polish them yourself if i were you to that chrome like finish. there's has been alot of discussion on here about how to do it, not to mention a tech article. it just is a little time consumeing, but i'm sure it's worth it. i'm about to do my 91 camaro wheels next week.
