I work behind the counter at McDonalds. Well, I did once anyway. Hah...

I'm in the oil business. I make my money from the big oil companies, not you guys. LOL

Thought I would let you guys in on something. I recently sent my '06 Corvette Z06 to a company called Katech in Detroit. They build the race engines for GMs Corvette, Cadillac, GPX and GTO racing. I'll get the car back in May and when I do, I have been asked to let a certain magazine do a feature on my 2 Corvettes in June. I told them only if they include my '89 IROC in the article. This should be interesting since it's a Corvette magazine.

I'll keep you guys updated.

Cheers

Did you have the hood louvers and the front grill painted when you got your car painted? Looks damn good.

All I know is that it's the same red as the factory '89. The painter has it in his shop to do the final wet sand and polish. I'll ask him the code when I pick the car up later this week.

I'll post pics of the wheels as well.

I've been driving the car as a daily for the last couple of weeks. Giving my SS Silverado a break. Been getting lots of looks on the road. I gotta tell you guys, it's not the fastest car I own... but it sure is fun.

Back in '89, I was 25 years old and I couldn't even afford to look at one, much less own one. And now I got one. Ain't life great?

That is really great about getting the iroc a mention. (theyll probably squeeze it in as a sidebar or some such deal.)

What did you do to grenade that LS7?

Re: Why so much on paint? It's done! (pics)

It's nice to know that at least a few thirdgens wind up in the hands of owners who have the money and the desire to put a real paint job on a car and not a $300 maaco job. The car looks fantastic.
