2nd gen snowflakes on 3rd gen, any pics?
Hey, I was searching on the board, and from what I can tell, they'll fit no problem, but thats not really what I'm curious about...
Well, a buddy of mine who works at a junk/salvage yard recently came across an 81 Trans Am, it was in real rough shape, there's nothing really he can do with it, but the rims were still in pretty good condition (just a couple scratches from a curb probably). I'm still looking for a decent 3rd gen Firebird around in WI in my price range, but my friend knows this, and he said he can give me the snowflake rims if I'm interested, and I personally kind of like the look. I think I may keep them until I find a bird, and maybe put them on.
So does anyone have any pictures of 3rd Gen Firebirds with 2nd Gen snowflakes on them?

Send a private message to VincentZ28. He uses those rims as his drag rims.

I had them on an 85 Firebird and I liked the look. Car was two tone silver over grey. Looked good with the silver snowflake. I have pics but they are not digital. When I get a chance I'll scan a couple and post'em if no one has posted by then.

I think the WS6 snowflakes with the deeper dish would look even better though.

Here's 3 Pontiacs used from 1977 through 1981-82 the WS6 wheels to the left were 15X8's the other two are 15X7's
My Can am has the middle ones that are 15X7's. There is a 4th one that looks like the middle one's pictured but with all the webbing open as opposed to the closed out webs of the middle one.

My '80 T/A had the WS6 package and thankfully had the 15x8 Snowflakes and not the Turbocast wheels(not that I have anyhting against them). They are supposed to be one of the strongest yet lightest factory wheels used.A fellow member here in SC installed a set of 15x7 Snowflakes on her '87 Camaro(CamaroChickForLife).

No other pictures of my car, just others of the wheels on the rear axle, on a stand...

There is a guy with them on a camaro. in primer black, big cowl hood. I forget his name on here, but he posted some pictures in the tech/general engine board.
maybe search for posts made by me with the word "snowflake" in it. That might help you find the thread, and his pictures, if you were interested.
