screaming chicken on power buldge hood?

I want to know if I could fit a nice screaming chicken on my powerbuldge hood? Can it be done? Or would the cowl get too much in the way?

I am not really diggin that one... is there any other styles? I like the big screaming bird. I just hope it can go on the power buldge. I have seen it nicely done to a GTA vented hood.

yes the 1985 style, they got the 3rdgen bird design
i donno how they could look with the powerbulge
i don't think big birds on the powerbulge looks so good

maybe this is too big but not sure
its an idea of the bird on a power bulge ..on a 2nd gen

This was on an 84 a friend bought. So you see the 2nd gen bird works well.

White IMO would look the best, black or gold perhaps. But with a red base, Id go with the white chicken.

I often thought about putting the big bird on my powerbulge hood, but didn't know if the secondgen bird would fit. Looks interesting on the '84, I might still look into it. I'd get the 5 color decals from Phoenix graphics. I think they look better because the colors blend together, the 2 color decals look too flat, like on the pic of the '84 above.

id say go with it looks pretty good with the 2ndgen decal. Not really what i like but if its what you want and you like it thats all that matters. Id go with black white doesnt really go good with red to me red and black look much better in my opinion.

Just incase you are referring to mine, it's all airbrushed on and the dimensions are totally custom so a decal might not have the same effect.

A buddy of mine has a tube with all the screaming chicken decals from bandits 2nd gen from smokey and the bandit. His father was going to restore one but sold it and now left with decals... His are gold.

Red and gold are not terrible. My car is red with a two tone gold. However that is changing in a couple weeks when I personally paint the car. But Red car, gold bird and black interior.... hmm

I was just saying in general, I'm not sure how a decal would fit; but I sure would not hesitate to try it. Go for it!

does anyone have a pic of a thirdgen with the exact bird that "bandit" had on his 2nd gen? It doesnt have the "fire" coming from the birds mouth. It is also not that detail oriented.

I love the GTA hood, however Kristen my wife hates them, if she had it her way I would have a 3" cowl, but I really fancy the screaming chicken, out of all of them she wants what bandit had.

I am painting the car in about 10 days... so I will wait 30 days after the finish to cure before putting on my bandit bird. I found one on ebay for $50
