I vote for something other than the TT2's! The TT2's are so overly done, that you can't go to a car show and throw a rock without hitting a car with them on. I like the classic styling of the TT2, but they are just overly used. Go JYD, or something billet in a similar design.

!You might be able throw a rock hit a car with TT IIs on for shoes, but I bet it won't be a third gen. You see a lot of them on here, but not many are show cars or even show up for meets etc.

Tony89GTA, thanks for that info. Do you think I should bother going with a 9" front wheel or just stick to an 8"? There the same price so I cant see why someone wouldnt get the wider of the too. I just dont want the wheel to rub on the inside or be too far out beyopnd the fender. I problem with our cars is that the front brake system is so far inside the wheel well and you end up with a deep lip on the wheel. This is horrible looking when the rears have a smaller lip. The only way to fix this is to move the brake rotor further out. Now im not up to par with the 1LE brakes but I know that the C5 rotor will push the wheel out about 1/4" and that helps a little. I can also add a 1/4" spacer as well. So, thats 1/2" that Ijust pushed the wheel out. this means less lip in the front which is what I want. Now, I just have to correct that movement with the proper BS measurement. Now you said the I should runing a 9" wide wheel with a 5.75" BS. That seems all well and good but I need facts that it will NOT hit the tie rod and/or my strut. I also took alook at the pics of your wheels on your car and I think the placment of them is perfect to me. I would love to have my front wheels sit like that but have a 9" front wheel.
PS how much does the 1LE spindle move the brakes out? Would it be worth it fo rme to get apair of those or just leave it alone and use the 5.75"BS

Ok I just had a real good look at the front wheels on my car from turn to turn and at the points where I though you might have to do some grinding and if I were to order again since I did wanted the 9" wide wheel originally I would go with a 5.5" BS(5.75 if your going with C5 brakes or w/e the extra thickness of the rotor will be added to the 5.5"). This you could only do with a 18" wheel or bigger since the outer tie rod ends fit inside the rim and the one folded rib part on the strut should be pretty close. I'am thinking you might have to grind just a bit to make that room but trust me that rib part is doing nothing and I wouldn't be scared to hack it off. Other then that I think she would clear fine cause there seems to be enough room around the wheel for the extra wheel and tire, just make sure you don't go with a really fat tire, something that is flat with the outer wheel or stretched should work fine.
Now remember this is on my Trans Am so a Camaro might be a little bit different.
Damnit not you got me thinking of ordering new wider wheels for the front

ok well I think that I will either go with the smoothie IIs or the junkyard wheels. I cant really see a huge differance between the two so it might come down to the smooties. I will most likely go for the 18x9 with a 5.75"BS along with the C5 brakes and then 18x10 in the back with a 6.5" BS. This should make the lip on al 4 wheels about the same. Now I just gotta go searching for tires that fit these wheels pretty good. Im thinking for the front I will go with the265/35/18 or the 275/35/18 and the back will get the 285/35/18. I will have to decide on which tire for the front based on price and how common those sizes are.

I went with the cheapest tires I could find for my car, cause I like to spin them!!!
I used Sumitomo HRTZ2, in 265/35zr18, and 285/35zr18. I was suprised that for the cheapest tire I could find, that they have decent straighline traction, and hold very well on corners. I know there is better tires out there... but these will get you rolling!
