Paint Schemes for Third Gen Garage
I just finished my basement garage built specially for my 92 T/A. The drywall is finished and ready to paint ... so, how should I paint it? Should I do a solid color or stripes or some other scheme?
I was thinking about blue from the floor to about 4' high ... then white for about 2' ... then a 1' blue stripe ... then white to the ceiling.
I know this isn't "Auto Detailing And Appearance" related, but I need some input and didn't know where to put this. Thanks!

Yup. I have white walls, white ceiling, dark grey trim, dark/light grey cabinets, black and white floor, and 4 two-bulb light fixtures. So when I turn on the lights I can see anything well no matter where I am in the garage.

The more I think about it, the white might be the right way to go. Thanks!

White works best for seeing and reflecting light.
Install as many flourescents as you can and consider doing them switched for purpose-tasking.
Its a little more to install but cheaper on electricity
and very convenient.
Chicken on the ceiling would be cool.

I used white on the walls, but from the floor to varying heights I flamed the walls in a bright blue. Started at the doors with more traditional flames the made a transition to tribal flames near the door into the house. I recently painted my beer fridge to match my car - Gloss black with teal stripe.
