Simple Green on my Paint ... HELP!!
I was cleaning my engine bay and got some Simple Green on my fenders. I didn't realize it until it had been on there for about 2 minutes. It ran down the fenders in three or four streaks. I washed it off immediately, but it looks like it has damaged the paint a little. It doesn't come off with non-abrasive compound (although that helped a little). Any suggestions? This is not extremely noticable, but I can see it and it bugs the crap out of me.
Thanks for any advice!!

Clay bar is really just for removing surface contaminents. The simple green probably just totally stripped off whatever wax was on the car and that's the difference you're seeing. You may be able to remedy the problem with a simple coat of wax, or you may want to use a light cleaner wax like Meguiar's ColorX that you can pick up at KMart, Wal-Mart, or most auto parts stores. It does a great job as a paint cleaner but also has wax in it so you clean an protect in one step. If you're seriously loyal to any one brand of wax, then top the area with that after giving it a proper cleaning.

I've dripped a little bit of tranny fluid on my paint. It left a runner mark that would not go away. I tried a bunch of products. It just looked like the wax was stripped, there was no bubbling of the paint for anything. Well about 3 days later it just plain disappeared.

Non-abrasive compound helped it out ... I topped it off with some wax ...
Like I said, it's to the point of "hardly noticable", but it still bugs me.
Thanks for all the help!
rwdtech ... thanks for the compliments. I'll get you some more pics I promise.

You should get a rubbing or polishing compound(depending on how bad it is)
3M makes great prducts and a Perfect It III would probably take it off, but also effectivaly strip any wax or anything else on the paint. After you get it off, follow up with a polish and fresh coat of carnuba wax(I like High tech wax #26 by Meguires).
You need to make sure the wax you use has no abrasives that will strip the polish that you just put on.
