Nice looking car.
Yea, they are 70% more rare than finding an 82-89 Camaro.
What do you know already about this car?

Should be standard with the 5.7, correct me if I'm wrong. Congrats on the new IROC! We just picked up a 1990 IROC a few weeks ago as well, can't wait to see yours finished

Yea no kidding I am sure that thing could pull some serious $$$ especially if it's a 5spd. I wonder what is more sought after, a '90 G92, a '90 L98, or a '90 convertible?

not possible...G92 cars were a 5spd car and the L98 could only be had with a 700R4.

Yes, Possible you could only get the L98 With the G92 option. You had better do a little research.

yuuup 90 IROCs are pretty rare.. mine has the L98 but no power options.. no power windows.. no power door locks I guess thats just how it was ordered.. but yeah has the B2L RPO code in the glove box so its a legit 5.7 and all.. congrats though..

ahhh ok, so then the G92 is just the rear axle and disc brakes then. I thought G92's were also 5spds, nevermind then. I'm wondering what code on my RPO sheet is the one for the 5spd then?

G80 and G92 have nothing to do with fog lamps, they are all in terms of which rear end you have in the car.

G92 is the performance rear end with either 3.23 or 3.42 gears, and rear disc brakes.

haha there is nothing like owning 2 90-iroc verts. the red one just sits in the garage cause of the low 17k miles on it and the white one is my daily driver/race car.

ours was running when we got it, and it looks just like it does now except the interior was stuffed into the hatch. it needed a new clutch and needed some exhaust work because someone did a hack job when installing the muffler. It had 95,xxx miles on it and I consider it cheap that we got it for $3,500 considering it's a '90 G92 5spd. What did you pay for yours?

I got it for 1800 its running but needs some engine work probably a new head gasket. Everything else works like it should. 156000 miles on it engine rebuilt 40000 ago.

I've been told that the VIN number on a 1990 IROC-Z is worth $1,000 in itself. Consider yourself a theif

Why do you think it needs a head gasket? What are the symptoms?
