i have an 88 sport coupe with the stock low rise spoiler, it looks the same as the high rise but obvisouly lower, my question is would the high rise bolt on using the existing mounting holes or will i have to fill and drill, thanks.

I've done the swap before on my last '91 RS. Actually very simple, I drilled the pilot holes in the dark using a cell phone for light. The next morning I mounted it up and drove around for a few weeks with a primered High-Rise spoiler. The holes didn't match up though and I never filled them in, but you couldn't see the holes unless up close... but it did give rain a chance to get into the car and cause rust.

Any low & sleek looking car such as a thirdgen does not need some wing that sticks straight up 6 - 8 inches. It totally ruins the flow of the car in my opinion. It practically started the whole big wing/***** look. The standard 3-piece RS spoiler flows much better with the lines of the car with it's backslant that matches the front nose area of the car. But hey, at least you'll have a drying rack for your shorts should you get the urge to go skinny-dippin some night! LOL Just my opinion guys, don't take it to hard. Whatever trips your trigger.

i dont know what to do anymore, maybe ill just keep the stock low rise because i think it looks good also, and get hood blisters and call it a day, im nervous about aftermarket hoods fitment anyway, especially since my car was in a front end collision with the previous owner, not to mention the 550 bucks i can put else where.

I have to say put that "Park bench" on your car. Love it up, and be glad that you have something different from every other Camaro from 82-92... except 88-89 sc's, and 91- 92 Z's.
Do what you want with the spoiler, but don't let name calling get in the way of your dream car. If I had to see this from a different angle I would say a "Park bench" at least gets a**!!!

I have the "Park Bench" in my garage waiting for me to start the swap. The 92 Z with the Hi Rise and the Blisters is the most disinctive of all of the Camaro's. But then again I have a '86 with the 3 piece spoiler so I have the best of both worlds.
