Latest Progress of Jekyll & Hyde (not 56k friendly)
For those that have seen the old name 'Maroon-IROC-Z', things have changed. The car is no longer maroon and many things have changed on the car. Here is a quick update of the progress.
These pictures were taken in 2004 and 2005, which looked like this up until the end of last year.
----------
End of 2005. Escalade took out my door and my rear quarter panel. Total damage was $1,800. I took the money and matched it with mine. Here is the damage.
----------

Taken this past Sunday by a friend of mine. This is how the car sits right now, with the exterior almost complete I've started replacing the full interior. It's going from tan to black.

Its looking great so far. I say you should night shade the tail lights and then polish them, that would look sweet.

dang that looks nice man. but i would say either get some blackouts or nightshade the grids. to me i like the nightshades look alot better b/c it still looks like a taillight with all the squares i dont like the smooth look of the covers.

Haha. Thanks for all the great replies guys, I've been straining to wait for the rims and some good pics before I post it up. Been a secret for a long time.
I'm stoked to get working on the interior and the 'secret' engine.

I love the way you two-toned it. Thats how I wanna get mine(just not those colors). Most people when they two-tone these cars they run the colors up and over the rear spoiler.........I just love how you ran it just ontop of the spolier and didn't run it over.
Could you get a picture of the rear spoiler and trunk section?
The only things I would change would be(IMO)
1.)Stock chevy sign grille and paint the chevy sign orange.
2.)Get some black door handles and key locks.
Other then that I say PERFECTOOO

I'd also keep the interior tan. I think a tan interior looks fantastic with an orange exterior. If you wanted to mix things up a little, just find a better shade of tan. The tan color that Chevy used was a bit bland, but there are a lot of tan hues that would compliment that orange very nicely.

Thanks again everyone. As for the interior, the 80's tan doesn't complement the orange very much at all. The orange has about 8 different shades throughout the day and would hardly ever match the interior, so black is really the most viable option.
The orange is Lamborghini Orange from the 2004 Murcielago, it's a 3-stage pearl from PPG. It's not too expensive, but the painters will hate it since it's three layers of paint and pearl, if they mess it, they sand it all the way back down and have to paint it again.
The paint name is: Arancio Atlas Mic 2CT
The paint code is: *0058
The reason we did the dark color on top is we wanted to make it appear long and lower than it really is. It worked out really well.
I will this weekend. My camera is broken, so I'll need to borrow my sisters or something when I go of there for Father's Day.

Looks awesome man. Only things I would change are, door handles and keyholes would be black, and i would nightshade the taillights just a little bit. and i love the idea about the bowtie grille but with the orange symbol.

SWEEEEEEET!!!
your car just made my (short) list of camaros i would want to own. that looks so hot. i have only seen a few camaros Two toned like that. most of them go along the lower body line in the middle of the door. i also like how you only went to the top of the spoiler.
IMO leave the doorhandles the way they are. chrome=tack in most cases. i should know, one of my doorhandles is chrome (prior owner, i'm on it). i also feel that a black interior will go better with the orange then a tan interior. if the car were grey on black THEN tan interior would look good.
again GREAT looking camaro!

I’m really happy with way the car came out and I’m glad that it’s received such a great review.

Wow, that car is sweet. I always thought an orange 3rd gen would look cool, but I wasn't sure.... your car sure as hell puts that idea to rest, it looks awesome!
I like the car so much, is there any chance I can use it as my backround? I was hoping to get the last pic in full resolution if possible. Thanks.
