I hope you like burned plastic bumpers.

IMO, flame throwers are cool on old mercs, buicks etc, but on a thirdgen, I am not a fan.

Yup, real stupid to do imho. We already get enough trouble from cops with a loud exhaust system, imagine what they would do if fire cam shooting outta it

If you don't want huge flames, there's no need to cut the ignition or shut off the engine, just rev it a bit and you'll get enough unburnt fuel in the exhaust to make 1-3ft flames. It's easy to do. You can't do it with a cat though, of course.

Fuel solenoid, and a jet of some sorts before the spark plug? Easy...HUGE flame....easier on the motor.

your engine will be fine aslong as you change your oil each time you use your flame thrower.... your putting tons of gas through the engine and breaking down all the oil......... but flamethrowers are cool because nothing beats fire.

HAHA... clever of you.

Anywho, flame throwers are sweet. I'm gonna make my Camaro pop some little ones like bnoble's showin' for a lil' flash while drifting... Big *** 15ft flames are a bit much for a thirdgen tho, unless you have some laidout, crazy style goin on...

good point..... but you cant really put water guns on a third gen.......

ive seen where people just use those small propane tanks and a coil sparkplug and switch so they dont so have to run any gas through the engine for fuel on the flamethrower. dont know how safe that is though.

I hope you guys know that raw fuel like that will melt your cat! but its cool with out cats and if you dont do it that much because that fuel will wash out your oil in your cylinders and cause problems with your rings. But fire just kicks *** and its better coming out of a Third gen!

Is that a dare?

Anyway, The flames could look cool. But there are issues with the engine and bumper and whatnot. Doesn't someone sell a kit for that?
