i nearly went over to the dark side
I almost sold the IROC, I've had some problems with my car recently, new intake, water pump, and power steering pump. Anyways i considered selling the IROC for a integra gsr or prelude, cause all my friends in college have imports. The main reason i kept my car is because i couldn't find any imports, other than $20K+ supra's or rx7's i can't afford, that i think look as good as a 3rg Gen Camaro. Ok, so now i have about $3,000 i was gonna use to get a newer car to put into the IROC now I was thinking of getting the C6 ZO6 Hyper Black rims, 1inch drop, some slotted rotors, and i like the wing from the 91-92 Z28's. would it be too black? maybe some grey rims? i don't really care for chrome rims. I haven't done much to my car the last 2years, i just wanna make it stand out a little more. here's some pics of my IROC

i think a prokit drop , and some 17 inch rims , like maybe snypers or even go with an 18inch polished iroc rim and then paint it to look stock , if anything keep your spoiler but het a different glass without the 86 only 3rd brake light .

Thanks, i'll check out the southwest board, i haven't been on here much the last year. i'm gonna wait a few months before doing anything to the car, i wanna make sure it's gonna fit and look right before i go buying parts. yeah, i don't like the 86 hatch either, the 3rd brake light has never worked, i cant figure it out i wish i would have switched my old 88rs hatch before i sold it. here's a pic of my old car with the IROC

Regardless, that's a real nice looking iroc and you sound like you have some good taste in what you want to do with it. Good luck bro.

About the comment on taste I will agree with you to a point. As for the imports and other cars I agree the taste is pretty bad around here, but there are quite a few tastefully done thirdgens around or at least in my area of so-cal.

take a look at those plastic 'plugs' that are on the hatch and are near the 3rd brake light....if you can find a few more they plug right into the holes that exist when you take the third brake light off....it's what Im going to do when I get my hands on some
as for the Hawks 5" spoiler, I really think it only looks good if you have a tall hood out front to balance the lines....ie a cowl, ss, raII, big block, or jongeblod hood....otherwise it'd look weird with a stock hood and a large 'ducktail' wing out back

id definitely drop it, get the black C6 rims, but go with the hawks 5 inch spoiler instead of the 91/92 cause IMO it just doesnt look right without the full GFX kit. nice black roc you got there
