awesome , ive seen a vid before of like an rx7 doing a red burnout , have they released these tires to the public yet. I heard that the makes of the tires just wanted to see if they could do it . The tires are black but they smoked red like in these pics. I want a set .

why the hell would it be so expensive....Im no expert, but I'd expect the cost to make colored rubber isnt nearly as much as the mark-up ...damn greedy corps

I figured they would be expensive, but $2k a tire.... WOW.
Those tires will mostly be used on Kuhmo sponsored drift cars anyway. I remember reading something about those tires, they aren't even supposed to be used for road use. I don't even think they have a DOT rating.

Yes they are going to be used for thier drifting team, they will be avalable to the public, and they will be DOT approved, but not recomended for extended highway use.
