Painting headlight buckets black.
I have an RS and for a while have liked the headlight buckets to be the Same color of the car. Ive searched but havent found anything. I am thinking of spraying them black but would like to know a good process to sand, prep and paint. I’m not at all sure of how to do a nice quality paintjob but I know the black in the headlight buckets is a satin, or a flat black.
If anyone can help me on this issue (previous threads, tutorial, etc…) that would be cool.

If the area your wan ing to paint is not too bad you can take 220 grit sand paper or a scuff pad to the area to promote good adhesion of the new paint tape off the headlamp bucket spray a coat of primer then spray a thin coat of the black paint this will take a few coat but it will tune out better in the end. I done the same thing to my friends camaro and my girlfriend's car two years ago and they still look good.
