ok so when they're smashin a car for racing, two guys are smashing apart a bank and shootin ppl how nice, why not just sell the darn car?

 

GD! that aint right. they could get some money out of those cars. especially if they are being raced. they had to have spent so much money (time=money) on those cars to smash them, they could have made money sellin them. but no lets waste money because we can always tax!

 

The sad thing is that those same govt bodies have lost the drug war so they pick easier targets to make the communities think they are doing something... and at the same time, they are still allowing us to get raped at the gas pump

 

OUCH! Again, why to they have to smash the car?! Admittedly, like they said, it hits us car owners where it hurts, but if it were me, losing my ride would be losing my ride... They don't have to ruin a perfectly good, if not great (they were being raced...) car.

This is very old and nothing more than a bunch of media (and I quote RB) monkey spank.

They deem the car "decked out" when it cleary has bad paint and miss matching crappy wheels. The only briefly mentioned that people can get there car back and that smashing it is only the extreme outcome if the owner does nothing. They didn't stress that because it makes for a better story if you focus on the potential conseqences. Chances are the owner of that camaro didn't want the car back. It looked like a piece of junk and he probably saved a lot of money by letting them have it. The media is terrible nowadays.

I dont think street racing should be illegal, but dumb people shouldnt race either. People who know how to race have barely ever died from it. Malfunctions happen. But all you ever hear on the news is like 10highschool kids in a camaro wrecked because of street racing. People in hondas die all the time. Its those people who are dumb. You have like 10 people in a car weaving through traffic. Thats not racing. Thats dumbassness. They wrecked the camaro cuz they thought its powerfullness will convey a message. Thats probably a good thing.
