Cost for Buffing out the Paint?

I am just wondering if anyone has taken their car to a shop to have them buff out the paint. Mine really needs to be buffed out and I don't have a buffer to do it so I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how much it might cost to have the paint buffed out to give it a better shine. Thanks for any help anyone can give me. I am thinking of going by a shop tomorrow to ask and see how much it will cost but just wanted a little heads up on a price if anyone knows.

Hey Gambit69, This is Nate, I met you at the Hooter's car show a few weeks back, I used to do alot of detailing work, and still have my buffer/pads, and all the supplies, i wouldn't charge ya an arm and a leg to do it, and i'm semi local here in johnston
