Yes those will look good!! Most any five spoke wheel with a good dish to them, like those should look good on these cars, the downside is the thin spokes so i would make sure you have some nice brakes because they will be exposed...

That is a great looking wheel! Good luck! I say a 18/9 front and a 18x10.5 rear
255/35/18 Front
295/30/18 Rear
I think they would look awesome on a black 91!
Is it just me or did I read somewhere on here where that guy is a butthole and hard to deal with the owner of Boyd??

that's a nice looking wheel. personally i wouldn't use boyd though, intro makes the same style wheel called the rockstar and it's available with alot more options. for example with or without the rivets... rivets are a pain to clean and after a month or two unless a show car the wheels won't look so nice. anyhow on to topic.. go for it.

here is intro's design... you can ask for certain things though if you would like to make it look more like above. if you want the 3 piece design then look to i-forged which is the more expensive sister company of intro. check with hevy D's if you want as cheap as possible as they are the base company of what intro wheels use to be and offer mostly 1 piece cast designs. heavier but cheaper. you can have the same design from all 3 companies. just different weights and piece designs from 1-3. the higher piece a rim obviously the more money they are.

Could someone make a decent photoshop maybe? IMO i still like these boyds the best, although there are many other 18" wheels that have my eye too. I just hope i like the look of having such a small sidewall. For rear tires i think i will go with the nitto DR in a 305/35/18, or is a 305 to wide for a 10" wide wheel. Anyways thinks for the comments and suggestions, by the way he is my car if anyone could do a decent photoshop i would really appreciate it. Or if the is any other black 91-92 z's out there with 18's i wanna see!! Thanks!

Kandied - The intro wheels aren't that much more than the boyds. The boyds he is looking at are part of the 2-piece forged series and for the 18x8 fronts and 18x10 rears they are listed at just over $2400 dollars on boyds site.
I guess if he orders them from www.sportruck.com they list for $2100 dollars for the set, but the intros are also only $2200.

You are right about the price on the boyds. I was kind of shocked at the price increase on his wheels, even the cast series wheels are expensive.

yes i can't honestly believe it's justified by the fact he has a television show but that's when it happen so...
when i bought my boze wheels which are compared equally in price to intro the boyd's wheels where $125+ less then the boze on their website, now they are the same if not more expensive. just outrageous.
no reason a set of wheels should cost $2,500 in an 18" without tires.

that ah boyd , that does suck that the price went up . makes me ashamed i have wheels by that dork , maybe i should sell mine and get some ccws. I think intro is the way to go if the boyds are that expensive.

nothing wrong with the boyd wheels but their process isn't as involved as some of the more expensive wheels like intro, boze, i-forged and the rest so i can't see the reason for the price hike. except for his popularity.
same thing happen with jesse james as well as foose. their rims were all reasonable to a degree and now the nicer ones are untouchable and there is no real good reason other then they know people will pay.

I agree 100% with Kandied boy on this one. Boyd's prices have gone up but I don't know why, other than he thinks very highly of himself. Although when I got mine they were not that much. Call up Direct Performance they have them cheaper I belive.
The boys over at Boze etc..do put more effort into their wheels and the quality shows. I have ordered many, many wheels from various companies and these are some of the better brands out there. $2500 for Boyds by themselfs is just stupid. If you put a Boze wheel next to the Boyd and look at the welds and such, you'll see what we all mean about the quality. Although the Boyds are nice I did notice a lot of "short-cuts" and such that the Boze and others do not have. For that kinda of cash get something better. My .02

as i've stated on this site which you can find looking up billet wheels. not all of the designs a company makes or carries will be on their website. more often then not the websites are updated maybe 2-3 times a year tops. if you have a design that your interested in from one company it's best to send it to the company you like and see if they can't help you. many times i have had a company duplicate or pretty much copy a design because i wanted a particular quality or something added/deleted. they will work with you and it isn't much more if it's a special order. it's the guys who want odd sized like a 15x13 or a 20x7 that often pay because the material just isn't there.
if price is a concern email a company and ask what your options are. for example a 3 piece i-forge wheel which may be 5-600 could easily be purchased from intro which is the same company for a fraction less in a two piece and vise-versa. point is just like a magazine don't believe for a minute because it's not there on the site that it isn't available or can't be done.
lastly with price. just because a website like boyds claims $2400 for a set of rims certainly doesn't mean that's what you will pay. obviously if you call direct and are willing to pay any company will take your money as that's why they are in business. they want to sell product though so if you talk with them politely and educated giving them a reason to offer a wheel for less chances are you'll get it.
good luck.
