removing buff stains
anyone know a good way to get rid of buff polish stains on weatherstripping. when my car was sanded and buffed the weather strip around the windshield was hit with the buff wheel and no i can not get the stains out. i can rub tire shine on it and it covers them, but they just come back when it get washed off.........

Use Costal power clean and a stiff non metal brush and as much elbow grease as you have. It'll work I use to detail cars and thats what we did.

IF that works and only IF. Then why not buy peanut oil and just use that.
The only reason I say if is that wax usually repells oil.

peanut butter doesn't splash or run, and is much easier to use in a very small, controlled amount than oil would be. basically you benefit from it having the consistency of paste.

I don't think it would hurt it, but I have never keft it on, so can't say for sure ..
everyone should carry a bottle of quick detailer and a microfiber with them in their car.
