Plastic Scratch Removal?

Does anyone know how to remove semi-deep scratches from a pair of GTS taillight covers?

They fell off of my car when I was driving and now they have some deep scratches. I tried using plain jane mother's scratch removal paste, and it helped a little bit, but not completely.

So does anyone have any special formula or technique to get the scratches out in the best possible way?

Thanks!!!
Steve

Depends on how deep thry are. Wet sand with 400 grit or 600 or 800. Then 1000, 1500, then 2000. Then just polish them out. If they are not real bad try some 3m rubbing compound and rub them real good a couple times. And make sure you use plenty of soap when you are wet sanding.
